ABOUT ME
Katherine Robbins was born and raiseed in Boulder Colorado. She studied at the University of Northern Colorado, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology. One year later she went back for a Masters in Education and has taught in both Boulder Valley and St Vrain Valley School Districts. She spent over 15 years working summers and evenings for the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department. It was working in the Parks that really got her started photographing the beauty of Boulder.
Katherines first camera was a Polaroid Land Camera at age 10, followed by a Kodak Instamatic, Pocket Instamatic, and a Pentax 1000 as a high school graduation present. A Canon Futura followed before finally moving into the digital age of today. A Sony and Fuji camera are currently used to capture most of the images that cover the pages of "Boulder A Photographic Essay".
Katherine lived in Boulder 50 years before she married and moved to the country. She still lives in Boulder County and is proud to call Boulder home.
